Day 01 Cairo

·          Arrive CairoInternationalAirport meet and assist by Guide lines representative with the sign of your name and assisting you through passport control formalities

·          Transfer to your selected hotel in Cairo

·          Overnight in Cairo

Day 02 Cairo – Aswan

·          Pyramids (one of the seven wonders of the ancient World ) & Sphinx ( the guardian of the pyramids ) with free time for camel ride at the area

·          Break for lunch

·          Proceed to the Egyptian museum (which is the most important depository of Egyptian antiquities anywhere in the world)there also we will see the treasure of king tut ankh Emun with & the famous golden mask

·          Transfer to Giza Train station to catch the night train to Aswan

·          Overnight in the train

Day 03 Aswan

·          Meet & assist at Aswan train station then introduced to your guide

·            Start your tour to visit the High dam (The world-famous High Dam was an engineering miracle when it was built in the1960s. Today it provides irrigation and electricity for the whole of Egypt

·            Then visit the unfinished obelisk The Unfinished Obelisk still lays where a crack    was discovered as it was being hewn from the rock. Possibly intended as a companion to the Lateran obelisk.

·          Embarkation in your Luxury Nile cruise ( Start with lunch & end with breakfast

·          Optional tour to the Nubian village

Day 04 Kom ombo – Edfu

·          Breakfast on board

·          Sail to kom ombo

·          Arriving by boat at the Temple of Haroeris and Sobek, near Kom Ombo (the only temple in Egypt didecated to two gods) Dedicated jointly to Haroeris, The Good Doctor, and Sobek, the crocodile god, the temple is famous for its twin entrances, halls and sanctuaries. Sculpted wall reliefs include one showing ancient surgical instruments, bone-saws and dental tools. Three mummified crocodiles found nearby are now in the Chapel of Hathor

·          Sail to edfu

·          Visit horus temple

·          Sail to Luxor via Esna lock

Day 05 Luxor

·          Breakfast on board

·          Start day tout to visit the west bank

·          Visit valley of the kings

·          Then proceed to hatshibsut temple

Day 06 Luxor – Cairo

·          After breakfast disembarkation from cruise

·          Transfer to Luxor Train station to catch the night train to Cairo

Our Holiday

We were both very disappointed that we did not get to see you before we left Cairo, as we had hoped to say thank you and show our appreciation in person for all the effort you put in to arranging our holiday.

Our holiday was excellent, with the exception of maybe Hurghada, which I will explain. Your agent in Hurghada (Ibrahim?) broke a “golden rule” in that he wasn’t there to meet us. When he did arrive with excuses as to why he was late, we were escorted to a car containing two men plus driver. They asked for the hotel voucher and insisted we were staying at the Hilton Hotel Longbeach, despite repeated protest from me that we were at the Hilton Resort hotel. We arrived at Longbeach about 10 o’clock to be advised by reception that we were not booked in there but at what they called the Hilton “Le Noor?”. So after much grumbling between them we were taken back to Hurghada. We checked into the right hotel and fortunately the restaurant was still open, so we went for dinner. However, two of the men insisted on waiting in reception whilst we ate, talk about feeling under pressure to eat quickly. When we finished dinner and went down they proceeded to tell us our itinerary whilst in Hurghada which consisted of everyday being filled by option trips at $50 each per person. When we explained that our intention for our stay in Hurghada was to relax and chill-out by a pool they were most disappointed. Finally, on our last night there, although we had received your instructions as to when we would be collected early the next morning, Ibrahim turned up at reception at 11:45pm, we were in bed. I explained this to him over the phone and went back to sleep. All in all the organisation in Hurghada was a bit of a mess and I am giving you feedback on this, as it was not to the standard of the rest of our trip. The other tour guides throughout the holiday were first class and could not have been more helpful enabling us to view Egypt in a very positive way. Please pass on our thanks to all the people who made our trip very memorable.
